Pippa's Apartment • 1978 Pippa's new 'improved' apartment is a sorry state of affairs. Scale was a stranger to the designer of this particular Pippa accoutrement; the sofa is almost at floor level and the kitchen area is backbreakingly low. Poor Pippa, at least she can relax in her bed without her feet hanging off the end. |
Lean in close and the odour of fish glue assaults your nostrils. This is the table top being stuck to its base. I carefully removed mine, cleaned it off with nail polish remover and re-stuck it with superglue. Take care if you try this as old plastic gets brittle and the flock carpet is easily marked. There is a French Meccano version of this apartment with different colourways. |
