The 1978 Palitoy catalogue featured a cute lil Pippa dressed as a 'British Airways' stewardess. Unfortunately, Pippa didn't pass her stewardess exam as she spilled the coffee and microwaved carrots. She was also too short.

The doll on the left is a standard BA doll, manufactured by Rexard, they are about an inch taller than Pippa and far better at intimidating drunken businessmen...

Although there was a nondescript air hostess outfit with the Career Girl set, this Pippa Air Hostess doesn't exist. The true story behind Pippa's failed foray into air travel is unclear, but the aluminium coffee pot would later be taken up by Sindy.
